The high-ranking delegation of the CPA met with fellow countrymen residing in the USA in the state of New York

Continuing with their visits and meetings, the high-ranking delegation of the Citizens’ Party of Afghanistan, led by the party’s president, Dr. Zakir Hussain Ershad, met with fellow countrymen residing in the city of Buffalo, New York.

Dr. Ershad initially praised the glorious uprising of Imam Hussein (peace be up on him) and extended his condolences to the participants on the occasion of Muharram and Imam Hussain’s martyrdom (Ashura). Furthermore, he expressed gratitude for the warm welcome received from fellow countrymen towards the delegation of the Citizens’ Party of Afghanistan during their visit to New York state.

Dr. Ershad thoroughly reviewed  the current situation in Afghanistan and elaborated on the reasons necessitating an active and systematic approach to address the present conditions. In a part of his speech, he emphasized the importance of paying attention to the future and feeling a sense of responsibility towards the current situation. Within this context, he outlined the programs and objectives of the Citizens’ Party for fellow countrymen.

During this meeting, the purpose of sending the delegation to the United States of America was explained, and it was emphasized that there are extensive, significant, and noteworthy opportunities in the United States that should be taken into consideration as new prospects to overcome threats and challenges. Dr. Ershad expressed hope that the Citizens’ Party could effectively utilize these opportunities through collaboration with fellow countrymen.

The fellow Afghans residing in New York warmly welcomed the delegation of the Citizens’ Party and concluded the meeting with a prayer in tribute to the souls of the martyrs of Karbala and the martyrs of the Second Assad.
